I have lived and worked in Silicon Valley since the 1970’s and know the area well. Join me as I share with you stories about people and places of this unique area.
You may want a picture of the Meta sign to post on your own Facebook page. You may want to stop at Googleplex and visit the newest building, Charleston East. You may want to see the new “Apple Park” and the Visitors Center. Then, let me take you on a walking tour of Stanford and a walk down University Drive in Palo. Maybe you’ll even be infected by the entrepreneurial bug!
A typical itinerary includes a visit to Stanford, including the Main Quad. We will also drive by the Hewlett Packard Garage in Palo Alto, visit the Computer History Museum (open on weekends only), and stop by Google, Apple, Facebook (Meta), and Intel. Other destinations that may be included: Moffett Field, The Tech Interactive (admission is $25 adults $20 senior and student), Tesla (showroom and headquarters), PayPal, Cisco, Adobe, Nvidia, Samsung and others.
Please note, the tour does not include a tour inside these companies, but will offer much information, photo opportunities, and a visit to their stores, where applicable.
Meeting location: Meet at the Palo Alto caltrain station or a Silicon Valley location of your choice
End location: Any prearranged location such as your hotel, cruise port or the train station
Duration: 4 hours
We will be chauffeured in a sedan (2 passengers), or an SUV (3-6 passengers), and provided services and commentary by a professional tour guide.
Admission to Computer History Museum and admission to Tech Museum of Innovation is not included. Lunch and snacks are not included.
