Our tour takes us to California wine country, specifically the Napa or Sonoma Valley. You indicate your preferences: whether it is a specific varietal, a particular winery or let me guide you to some of my favorites. This is a custom tour, designed to fit the needs of the group.
We will enjoy the history, the vineyards, the wineries, and the landscape of Napa and/or Sonoma Valley, California. Depending on your preference we can visit 3-4 wineries plus a town (Napa or Sonoma) and hear about the history, culture, development and importance of these two wine growing regions.
Meeting location: I will meet you at your hotel, cruise port, or other location.
End location: We will end the tour at your hotel or cruise port.
Duration: 8 hours
This timeline assumes meetup in a hotel or similar in San Francisco, the East Bay, or the Peninsula. Times can be modified depending on the meetup location.
All transportation with a driving service and the services of an expert tour guide. We will be chauffeured in a sedan (2 passengers) or an SUV (3-6 passengers)
Varies. Each winery we visit charges for a tour and/or a tasting, usually $50 to $100 for a flight of wines. This charge may be applied to any wine purchases you make at the winery. We will discuss in advance the wineries we choose and the cost for the tasting
Winery tours, tastings and any food or drink is not included.
